River Place On The Clinch - Kyles Ford

Was there 8-4-17. Ok...service was medium, but the food and atmosphere was awesome. Live Bluegrass music while you eat. I traveled 40 miles to go there and will do it again.

Biker friendly. Great stop on our half day Clinch River ride. Quaint, clean and staff were down home friendly. General store stocked with everything from hand fans and cereal to live bait. Porch with a view with small stage for live music. Youngfriendly wait staff. We'll be back for a lunch and longer visit!

The cheeseburgers were absolutely the best I have ever had and the fried pickles were so good we found ourselves fighting for the fallen crumbles at the bottom of the pouch! I would highly recommend eating here the first chance you get!

Stayed here several times over the years with good experiences, however this year a 40$ cleaning fee has been added to all room charges. There is a 2 night minimum which means just to sleep here is 250$. then if you want kayak, eat, etc. can become expensive. How about a 40$ cleaning deposit for thrashed rooms and refund for others?

The place is very dirty , when we arrived the place had horrible smell , dirty wash clothes left in bath tub , the toilet was nasty , this place hasn't been cleaned in months possible a year cob webs everywhere the floors had food all over them , you shouldn't have to clean when you arrive, we didn't stay the full time we paid for someone needs to take a few days a deep clean , we won't be back or recommend this place , needs to go under new management that cares about these cabins , the cabins that where rented every person said they had to clean their too . A very disgusting visit .
