Bamboo Corner - Kuta

This restaurant comes highly recommended. They offer the best authentic Indonesian food as well as a seafood section at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is excellent. I suggest trying their seafood plate, which costs around 75,000 IDR. They also serve beer here. Kuta Beach is just a 5-minute walk away. This restaurant is highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers looking to satisfy their hunger. Families are also welcome here. Give it a try!

Amazing food at a reasonable price! You must try the seafood options. It was a shame that we had to leave without trying the lobster.

If you're searching for an affordable yet satisfying meal, Bamboo Corner in Poppies Lane is the place to visit. We have been coming here for over a decade, from solo backpacking trips to family vacations. We have experienced both friendly workers and unfortunately, poor service from new staff, but during our last visit, we were pleased to find friendly employees once again. Be sure to try their pasta and steak paired with a beer, all at a reasonable price.

Hidden at a pathway. It’s quiet on lunch time, but friend told it’ll crowd during dinner time maybe due to the weather. It’s hot and not in windy location. Although got ceiling fans indoor but feels hotter than outdoor. Ordered Fried Chicken Bumbu Bali, its delicious especially with the savory sauce. Mango juice (smoothie) which I requested without ice and sugar, taste a bit bland and sour. Maybe it’ll be better if in normal version or maybe not. Still a recommended place, food is not bad with reasonable price and it’s tax free whereby others restaurant might charge you additional 11% government tax 5%-10% service charge. — Visited 22 May 2019 —

Probably one of the cheapest seafood I could find in Katu. But food was So so. Had steamed crab. Understood why most crab here are fried. While I could taste the sweetness of the crab, the meat was not solid and tasted mushy. Prawn was deep fried. Fragrant but not amazingly tender. Juices were affordable and nice though.
