This dish was so flavoursome, fresh and just what I needed to start the day.<br/ <br/ My hubby had the french toast, he said it tasted great. The bacon was crispy, and went perfect with the sweet syrup he poured over it.<br/ <br/ The kids shared the nachos. It was loaded with a generous topping of guacamole. And we washed it all down with a couple of millkshakes.<br/ <br/ We had a great time in Werribee, and this feast made it that much better.
Located in a large, open space on the main street of Werribee; The Social Sutra is bringing fabulous coffee and delicious food to locals all day long. With plenty of seating indoors and several large tables out the front, the vibe at this pleasant cafe is chilled and cosy. Staff are welcoming, know their regulars by name, and are very friendly. <br/ <br/ We decided to sit outside on a lovely day, and enjoyed our coffees. We noticed that this cafe is very popular as inside was full, and outside was taken up with young families with prams and dogs. Everyone is welcome. The menu is quite broad, with lots of appetising dishes to choose from. <br/ <br/ Our savoury dish was a generous helping of corn and haloumi fritters topped with beautifully poached eggs, sweet potato crisps, bacon, asparagus and a delicate hollondaise that was light and creamy. What an enjoyable dish. Seasoned perfectly, the fritters were just divine. <br/ <br/ Chia pudding is found on many a cafe menu, and the dish served here is epic. The pudding is creamy and lightly flavoured, with the addition of granola and fresh fruit for extra crunch and sweetness. I was delighted with this delicious bowl, and could easily eat it for breakfast every day. <br/ <br/ We finished up with an epic blueberry and ricotta hotcake stack. Two thick and fluffy hotcakes were studded with generous pieces of ricotta and loads of blueberries. Yum!! A berry compote, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds and a handmade wafer finish the dish. Pretty as a picture, these hotcakes definitely lived up to the image presented before us. Perfect in every way, the chef has truly nailed this classic dish and added their own stamp to it. <br/ <br/ The Social Sutra is already popular with Werribee locals, who know when they are onto a good thing. But if you are visiting the area, you really should stop by, as you won't be disappointed in the food, coffee and ambience at this fabulous cafe.

If you happen to see Valentine Panna cotta on their menu then you've gotta rush to try it. We ordered the Mexican benny and the Panna Cotta for a mix of savoury and sweet. The Mexican benny looks like a bowl of nachos but so so good, it had chorizo, avocado and nacho like crisps. Just thinking about it makes me drool
