Bidrage med feedbackI attended my Uncles wedding at Doyles a couple of weeks ago and had a really good experience. The ceremony took place outside and was laid back and funny (perfect for my uncle). After the ceremony we moved into the bistro for lunch. We were seated in a private room with a big round table which was great.I ordered the Cob Loaf with garlic butter, and the Doyles Pumpkin Risotto. The cob loaf came out warm and was delicious. The risotto was also great, however probably a smaller serving size that I expected. Everyone else on the table seemed happy with their meals too, and there was a lot of options on the menu to choose from. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service could be improved my cousin had to give the menu's out to everyone on the table, and the waiter/waitress would walk away from the table before taking everyone's drinks orders. The meals are also a bit more expensive than I'd expect at a bistro.Overall a great experience though.
Doyles Deck Bistro is located on Nepean Highway in Mordialloc. It’s a big complex with 3 different dining areas spacious rooms for functions. With decks overlooking Mordialloc Creek which leads out to the beach, the views are spectacular. <br/ <br/ As a local, I’ve been here many times generally dine in the cafe/bistro area which has a gorgeous outdoor deck area. It’s so tranquil being right on the water watching the boats bobbing along. <br/ <br/ Their tapas menu is my go to, they have some great options as well as plenty of entrees, mains wood fired pizzas. The food has always been impressive, especially the seafood dishes. <br/ <br/ On my last visit we devoured the calamari, the pulled pork sliders jumbo prawns with chilli jam. I love a good range of tapas dishes there are loads of delicious ones. The char siu pork belly is incredible as are the arancini. <br/ <br/ Doyles have a great range of drinks too as well as cocktails jugs. Our Pimms jug was gorgeous so refreshing, loaded with fruit ice. <br/ <br/ I’ve visited Doyles many times the food has always been consistently good with friendly service. It’s a great spot to catch up with friends, sit out on the deck with delicious food drinks with stunning views.
Despite a booking for 11am we couldn’t be seated for another half hour so we went next door the the Bridge Hotel Cafe and had a great timeZ Eventually we got our table and the place then filled up quickly. Lovely to see the boats and water. Nice vibe to a restaurant. The pace was speeding up as more and more diners arrived so we ordered quickly. We chose mostly Caesar salads but there was also calamari, fish and chips and steak and risotto. Food was good. Not great but good. Service was excellent. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Toilets clean. Good parking out the front or car park at the rear. Gets noisy but it is a large restaurant. Nicely Christmas decorations.
Bistro dining at its best, this place has dropped the gold for years now I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the meals are always cooked to perfection and generous portions.Great service and I’m a nice day it’s great to sit out on the decking ... today we celebrated a birthday and we started with afew entrees and for my main I ordered the eye fillet tornados which is served with king prawns and veggies. This spot will always deliver great food and great service ..
