Rustica Sourdough Bakery Cafe

Bought a loaf of sesame sourdough to take home. Given that the word sourdough is in the restaurant name, we had high expectations and they did not disappoint.

Great bakery, cafe and brunch spot in Fitzroy! Great coffee and delicious food all round The lobster eggs bennedict is a personal favourite!

This place is popular so be ready to wait for a table! I had been craving Okonomiyaki all week and while this wasn’t the best breakfast version of the dish I’ve had in Melbourne, it still hit the spot!

Visited Rustica cafe on Saturday afternoon. I ordered Avocado toast with extra trout. Love the combination of crispy toast, mashed avocado, fresh tomatoes and pickled red onion. Definitely come back :

Love this place! Their baked goods range is off the charts! Hot tip get the savory muffin that’s stuffed with cream cheese! The waffles with caramelised banana were also a hit!!
