James Brooke Bistro Cafe - Kuching

I have eaten here many times and it was always excellent. If you are looking for restaurant quality food at very good prices in THE best place on the water in Kuching, then this is the place for you.

The place is very nice with a beautiful view. We had the family grilled chicken. This was very good! The other dish was the buttered chicken which was nice but nothing special. Both of us had a juice and we spent about 73 MYR in total. So its a little expensive. They didn't serve both dishes together (the buttered chicken came about 10 minutes earlier). In my opinion this should not happen cause we'd like to eat together.

The environment is perfect! Food taste awesome as well. I'll strongly recommend this place. Totally value for money too. Bravo

Very relaxed dining table superb service and lovely views. Great menu options available and so tasty

Nice food. Sort of expensive. Really good service. This first soup on the soup list was really really spicy. Spring rolls were a bit spicy too.
