Bidrage med feedbackTo be honest,at first I was quite skeptical about this place, I mean how good can Malay cuisine be anyway? But Chef Wan proved me wrong. First of all I love what Chef Wan has done to the place. It’s happy it’s colorful, and I’m loving the vibrant vibe. Service was attentive and friendly. Tried Kerabu Pucik Paku With Kerang They replaced with Prawn as there’s no kerang without us being informed during order), but it’s ok. Flavor wise, it was really well balanced, prawns are big and fresh. A dish that you can’t stop digging in. We also ordered Daging Rendang Selangor, the size came a little shocking because it’s quite small for a RM78 dish, but I must say it is one of the best Rendang I’ve tasted in KL! It’s rich flavorful, beef is tender and goes so well with both type of the rice they served. Nasi Terengganu which I believe is the black one, they are really delicious. We love both of dishes and I’ve straight away booked a private room for my Birthday brunch this weekend.
Very authentic Malay food by the famed Chef Wan, brilliant presentation too. Excellent and attentive service provided by Mr Shah. The satay was good, lamb was awesome too. Nasi Terengganu was very nice too. Would come back again surely
Great dining experiences. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant ambiance. Dishes is very good and delicious. For me this restaurant is above than Michelin star rating. Good work Chef Wan. Keep it up.
I am not fancy of Malay cuisine but this restaurant is really good. Ordered 3 dishes: popiah basah, ayam masak merah and paku salad. They served two types of rice, not my favourite but it’s very special full of fragrance. Paku salad with the biggest kerang I’ve ever seen in normal dishes. Both three dishes are delicious but if I would to choose one, it will be the chicken. I personally love ayam masak merah the most. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. On a side note, it would be pricey as compared to normal Malay cuisine.
Everything we ordered was delicious! We had jumbo sotong bakar2, rendang Selangor, udang harimau sambal petai, lamb rack . Quite pricey but worth it for special occasions. If you're lucky Chef Wan will be there.
