The restaurant is located in the middle of the city. The food was good that we had salad and fish. The bad evaluation is due to the rude and absolutely unmotivated waiters. We sat 30 minutes in front of an empty table and after we asked for attention, he was complaining. Never. There seem to be too many tourists there, so behavior plays no role for them

Northwestern Germany, very close to Emden. Small fishing town, but very interesting. To the Old Siel beautiful restaurant to have a fresh fish meal, excellent and really fresh. Fair prices, good services. Thank you. Highly recomended.

Greetsiel is a small touristic town on the North Sea in Germany. Friends and I visited on Sunday in April. We had lunch in this fantastic restaurant. Of course we tried the local specialties that a seafood sampler with grilled local shrimps, dosh and herring. The dish included cooked potatoes, salad and fresh vegetables. It was very tasty with a yeast sage beer. It was a perfect meal for my friends and me. Service was excellent, which made the meal even more impressive.

A highly recommended house with good and affordable kitchen. In particular, the location, in the old, historical center, near the Kutterhafen, is an absolute plus point for the house. The service, the offered products and the team are above average good and make the stay very pleasant. The restaurant menu is versatile and offers the right choice for every taste. I personally am a fan of fish dishes there.

Was sich als Touristenmagent ausweist und auch mit einer sehr umfangreichen Karte noch dazu, hinkt beim Essen dann doch deutlich hinterher. Man sitzt nett, die Kellner sind bemüht, das Essen optisch immer noch OK. Dann kommt der Geschmack, oder eher weniger davon und das Ganze dann in reichlich, reichlich Fett zubereitet. SORRY, das macht alles kaputt. Im Fett schwimmende Bratkartoffeln und eine Scholle in, hm, was sollte das sein? Für weniger anspruchsvolle Gäste, bitte, genießt die Lage etc..... wir verabschieden uns da.
