Nice and sweet little cafe in Münster downtown with an amazing and very modern atmosphere and decoration. They serve vegan quiche, cakes and also some breakfast options. However, the cakes we had were relatively small and not tasting too special. Therefore I found it a little a expensive (4-5€ per piece of cake). The staff on the other hand is very friendly and the cafe collects money for nonprofit organisations.

The Cafe Lockvogel is a nice and charming cafe with a very friendly, alternative and peaceful atmosphere. We 've been there two times on our weekend in Münster (Octobre 2022). Service is done by the owner herself in a quiet and efficient mode. She offers 3 hot vegan dishes (ie Quiche, Soup) and a variety of cakes, most of them vegan. Everything we ate was tasty! Especially the cakes were lovely, also the coffee. Prices are reasonbly. We 'll love to return to Münster in order to visit Cafe Lockvogel again.

DE (English below): The small vegetarian cafe on the edge of the city centre of Münster offers many vegan cakes. The cookies are vegan, the cake is not. Since it appears to be a criterion for some customers to decide against it, the owner does not label the cake accordingly; on demand it turned out that at the time of our visit a single cake of the pancake was not vegan. She was very helpful. The principle: order at the counter and then sit down, the drinks and food are brought quickly, later pay at the counter. We were five there and tried a total of three cakes and found all soooo delicious! Also the milk coffee with oat milk and tea were according to our taste. There are in the curly bird, as in many places in Münster, the regional Liba lemonades. Overall a nice cafe where you can spend time If we're back in Münster, we'll definitely be back! EN: The small vegetarian Cafe is located at the edge of the inner city of Münster. You find many vegan cakes, but they are not labelled, cause some won’t try them, if they knew. The Owner knows about veganism and was very helpful. Order at the counter and take a seat, your dish will be served in nearly no time, later pay at the counter. We tried three different cakes (we were 5) and liked them all very much! So the oat milk coffee and the tea were great. At Lockvogel (the lure) you may so choose the Liba lemonades made in Münster. We liked it very much and when in Münster again, we will come back.

Excellent vegan-vegetarian cuisine in the heart of Münster! If you like to be in a café that offers excellent food in addition to an original beverage range – vegetarian and vegan, sweet or hearty, freshly prepared daily, in organic quality – and like to stay in lovingly furnished rooms with a cozy ambience and sometimes revitalize and sometimes quietly sitting corners for yourself, I can recommend the Lockvogel Café completely! This is for me a place with a unique character... and with its manufacturing and design products also an inspiring oasis for gifts. I always go to the curly bird, because I feel very comfortable there with friends or family, but also alone because I can work as relaxing as concentrated, the guest group is colorful and diverse and because I find the naturally-authentic type of the team just sympathetic. My tip: the vegan-vegetarian brunch every first Saturday a month and the natural frisör, which also belongs to the Lockvogel concept. I am an enthusiastic customer and put this store to everyone!
