Big Horn Steak House Kongsberg

A mediocre experience, especially given the price point. satisfied with 2/4 family members I was personally unsatisfied. we start with the positive side: 1. ordering experience was nice, even despite rush hour newspaper. 2. pretty fast preparation time. 3. large selection of alcoholic beverages. 4. the one that is saved big horn from a star is the mushroom sauce. it was honestly great, both taste and consistency. 5. the deserts looked good, not ordered. now for the parts: 1. the quantity of the different additional plate pieces led to a slight inconvenience due to the small space on the table. there is little space on the boards themselves by a coating with two additional slip on the top. 2. large horn style sown to carte saturated, but tasted no different from home baked kartoffels. I could even recognize the ruber they buy in the normal super market. the seasoned were missing and were all badly distributed. 3. pieces of meat were of a good choice, but the end product disappointed me. the 3 of us ordered middle steaks, but ended with 3 completely different steaks, my was particularly raw. 4. I ordered deep fried tweepers as supplement. the crust was easy to bite as if they were simply reheated the day before and after. 5. the brokkoli saw and tasted, as it was only 5 seconds, immersed in boiling water and shed. also raw and watery. 6. the fried aubergine was also watery. 7. The restaurant-made bernaise sauce had an extremely unpleasant foam structure with equally suspicious taste. 8. the wobble bread had the same problem as the wobble rings (number 4). 9. Young has a burger. it consisted only of two bungalows and one piece meat. so dry and without additives, still sauce on it. 10. everything in all can be considered as a combination of separate means of life that are thrown on a plate. the combined experience is desired below.

The food was incredibly tasty! The ambiance was fantastic and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

The service was poor, and unfortunately, the waitress did not make up for it with the quality of food coming out of the kitchen. My friend Sam, a student, disagrees with this review.

Beautiful place, welcoming, comfort, I had a steake and is great, as I wish, personally is great, it is worth going there.

We went on a sunday at 18:30. After 1 hour after ordering, the waitress came back and told us the side dishes we wanted werent available. After selecting new ones, our order arrived 15 minutes later, still missing one part of our order. The food tasted great, and we understand the dificulties handling a full restaurant, but when the waitress didnt thank us for tipping, or even adress the faults in the service, I feel like they arnt even trying. 2 stars, and thats carried by the food alone.
