The On Cafe - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Indeed, 1 of the best cafes in town in terms of innovative and healthy food! Their modus operandi is to provide HEALTHY FAST food – and indeed, they do full justice to their tagline!<br/ Based in a premium location Bhawanipur – we ordered their Mexican Platter for delivery! The platter comprised Mexican Rice, 2 pcs Mexican wrap and a Salsa dip. If I were to choose the best amongst the above three, it will obviously be the Salsa dip – which is by the way a side dish but was the front runner in our case!<br/ Since this was a Mexican platter, rajma was everywhere, I felt, a tad overdone! Wraps were sinful and rice tasted nice also – the salsa dip increasing the taste quotient! Amongst rajma, the rice was well tempered with a few other veggies with minimum oil – indeed, a very healthy platter!<br/ Thanks to the Management of The On Café for serving us an innovative dish of this caliber!<br/ Pocket pinch was not high, quantity and quality of food served was reasonable, so was the packaging!<br/ Going by their name, they indeed turn you “ON”.<br/ Cheers!<br/

Today we headed for another restaurant and this time We decided we should cover some vegetarian restaurant and if they serve healthy food then that will on our high priority list so as we said above we were at The On Cafe. And this restaurant actually perfectly fall in that mentioned criteria. 2-3 important points i must add quickly which will give you the clear Idea about the place.1. PURE VEG RESTAURANT AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR JAIN FOOD(SPECIALLY WITHOUT ONIONS AND GARLIC) THIS IS THE GO TO PLACE.2. IF YOU ARE DIET CONSCIOUS OR DIETING OR GYM GOER THEN YOU CAN COME HERE WITHOUT ANY WORRY BECAUSE THEY HAVE PLENTY OPTIONS FOR YOU FOLKS TOO.3. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HEALTHY FOOD BUT NOT LIKE TO GO TO ANY STALL OR ROAD SIDE SHOP THEN YOU CAN TRY HERE AS THEY HAVE VERY VERY POCKET FRIENDLY MENU AS WELL.so points are done now lets straight drive into food i i will post pictures as well.We ordered paneer tikka, veg american chopsey, coleslaw sandwich.Paneer tikka is awesome i actually eat lots of tikka kebab from almost every famous food joint in kolkata but never ever had this type of taste in any tikka even in chicken tikka also. The thick gravy they gave with paneer tikka absolute mind blowing.Now Veg American chopsey here i made the mistake as i don't like tangy tastes at all but this plate is full of tangy taste like pineapple,tomato sauce so i don't like it but if you love this flavours you would fall in love with these or else you can order something else which i will do next time.Then Coleslaw sandwich ok this may look and taste lil bit off but this is super healthy and if you feel lack of Onion inside this you can always talk to the very friendly and Courteous staffs.Atmosphere is pretty good no complaints about that and staffs are good to you can watch your dish is being cooked as theirs kitchen and our sitting area is separated with glasses.Overall its a Good place to visit for Healthy, diet people and who wants to eat veg food as well.Just one thing i want to mention have some time when you are visiting this place because they do take time to serve you.That's it for today i will come up with another review very soon till than stay Healthy Eat Healthy and stay Happy.Thank you for reading my review.TATA.

Its a small cafe in bhawanipore. I ordered crispy baby corn and pasta in red sauce. I would not drag this review. I just want to say that its the best pasta and baby corn dish i have ever tasted.

We ordered1. Veronica Exotica Pizza Rate 4.5/5, it was amazing. Crispy, cheesy, full of vegetables!2. Pizza al pesto Rate 4/5, it was light, simple and amazing. Do not forget, had lots of cheese!3. Sizzling Paneer Rate 3/5, the paneer was less marinated but was soft. 4. Brownie with icecream Rate 3.5/5, the brownie was fudgy, crispy and full of walnuts and choco chips.5. Crispy Chilli Babycorn Rate 4/5, the babycorn was flavourful and amazing!
