Chanda's Khaukswey - Kolkata (Calcutta)

This place is known to serve some amazing and authentic burmese cuisines. So if you love experimenting with new cuisines definately visit this place. I have visited this few months ago as a friend recommended to me.The place is a bit small but the ambience and the taste of the foods over here will melt your heart. Traditional Burmese restaurant.Lives up to it's name.Recommended by Aparajita Ganguli . A great place for people who love experimenting when it comes to food.Main menu item is the authentic Ong No Khaukswey,a traditional dish of noodles in chicken broth.Recommendations: Khaukswey,Hto Boo Gyaw,Khao pyin.

A small shack with dim lighting and nice and light decor..Their most recommended ong no khaukswey was worth giving a try..It is a make your own noodle kind of which comes with a chicken and coconut broth and some toppings which you can add as per your choice..Also tried their dessert khao pyin,a traditional Burmese dish..Really it's worth a shot..Everyone should try this place atleast once..

Very good khao shwey they make, totally worth a visit. The ambience is also worth a mention, located in the golpark area adding to the decour of the place.

Chanda's Khaukswey had been on my list for a long time, food was perfect to the core, lovely ambience and cordial staff, definitely bookmarked to visit again.
