A mainstay of traditional Sifnos cuisine and one of the best. This small place (14 tables give-or-take) has been serving up the freshest of dishes, many with an imaginitive twist, for years and years. Many vegetarian and vegan option. Quick, friendly service, attention to detail, and a real love of good cooking. Friendly prices and striking views over the expansive valley will all combine to create a memory that will last a lifetime. Worth all five stars. Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and vegans will eat well here. Try the fava!

We went to this place in Castro one evening in September. It is a classic tavern with a beautiful covered terrace. The staff is friendly and fast. I recommend trying the lamb chops per kg. Horrible !! I didn't think I would one day find a junk food taverna here!! Astro did it!! I think everything we ate was industrial! Assembly cuisine that is quite tasteless or even disgusting (sausage, zucchini meatballs)... and what about frozen bread?!! On the service side: the chef who yells at the waitress when there were only 4 of us in the room!! In short, a bad experience! Food: 1

If you’re looking for the most authentic, affordable and delicious Greek food in Kastro, this is the place. The servings here are extremely generous and everything feels super authentic.
