Peshawri - Kolad

It has been a long hiatus for me from Zomato review section but since I encountered Dal Bukhara after a long time again it made sense to restart At the entrance the manager wasn’t able to find my reservation, even though I had booked a table beforehand The service was prompt and the servers seemed passionate in their attitude they insisted that I eat by hand and do not use a bowl for my Dal I was greeted with a Litchi based mocktail. Even though they didn’t ask me about my preference I thought that this slip could be ignored Tandoori Aloo was just delectable soft dry fruit based stuffing inside a potato. It can make you feel heavy but it is so worth it! Dal Bukhara was great but I would not rate it better than the Dal Makhani you get at the semi popular restaurants in Delhi I have definitely had much better black Dal Paneer Khurchan was soft but the seasoning and spice level wasn’t optimum and we ended up not finishing half of it I am a regular visitor at the ITC restaurants such as Avartana and Dum Pukht but what surprised me about Peshawri was the cost per item Veg appetisers on an average cost around Rs 2300 and Non veg appetisers would be around Rs 2800 (exclusive of taxes) The food was great but not worth the price that it is trying to command. There are multiple restaurants in Mumbai itself where at Rs 800 1000 you can get a fantastic main course level dish cooked to perfection Hoping to be enthralled the next time I am there

Very authentic food ....Staters were great .... Black dal with kulcha a must have dish ....and don't miss desert .... A lovely place with Ambience and lovely food

Our leadership fine dine was hosted here and following was my experience Food The food was authentic and very tasty. The appetisers (galouti kebab and chicken malai tikka) was very well made! The Gosht pulao was so delicious that though my tummy was full. However,my heart was still not satisfied! The dessert platter had faluda, gulab jamun and Rabri Ambience Elegant Customer service Excellent Value for money Expensive

Went for dinner last nite, food was excellent, as always, but service was rather poor and staff seemed inexperienced. A special request made to a waitress was totally ignored and at the end was given a bill that was not ours. We do visit once in a while, but have never been dissatisfied with the service.
