Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped by early on a Friday morning during our drive to Bluff Knoll for a coffee. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the enticing smell of freshly baked goods. I was tempted to purchase one of everything, but ended up settling on some Vegemite and jam scrolls. The prices were reasonable as well.
I stopped at this restaurant on my way to Albany and it was definitely worth the visit. The prices were reasonable and I especially enjoyed the vanilla slice, which was huge! I will definitely be stopping by again next time.
They bake Australia's best cinnamon scrolls and the girls are friendly. Nice light premises too.
As my road trip came to a close, I stopped at Gourmandise for breakfast and enjoyed a smoked salmon quiche and pastries. I then visited Albany Boatshed Markets and sampled a gluten free beef spicy sausage before heading to East Porongurup. There, I attended "The Black Olive At Zarephath" event at Zarephath Wines featuring chef Mark Olive. It was a fantastic event, but I had to rush back to Perth. On the way, I stopped at a roadside bakehouse in Kojonup for a steak and cheese pie, which was tasty. Finally, I made it back to Perth, feeling glad to be home. You can find Tom's Bakehouse on Facebook for more information.
Friendly staff. Fabulous coffee. Nice variety of pies and sausage rolls, hot foods and cakes. Loved the great service, witnessing one of the locals pulling up on his Gopher and one of the staff coming out to serve the gent. Good on you guys.
