Kaze - Kofu

We went to dinner without booking, but the receptionist welcomed us. She mentioned that the restaurant would encourage customers to book in advance to arrange a pianist for dinner! Food was absolutely fantastic. Both roast beef and grilled steak are essential menu items. The restaurant Ambiente is classic with warm lights and magnificent mountain views. By the way, the name of the restaurant is Kaze (not Fu), which means 'wind' in Japanese.

Local food, Japanese, fresh, simple but bright Japanese western influenced food, presented in a beautiful environment with some amazing wine choices! Unforgettable experience. Reservations are recommended, but we called 10 minutes before and they gave us a table with a view.

Gorgeous location with a beautiful view over the city. My fiance and I stumbled across it while walking in the dark cold and hungry. It was like a God sent. The food was fantastic but very pricey.
