Ristorante L'Angelo D'oro - Köln

The venue is located in the student’s quarter of Cologne. Parking on the street is possible but the available parking lots are often occupied. They have an inside and an outside dining area. The menu is not very big but sufficient. We had mixed Italian Antipasti for two, Saltimbocca alla Romana and Scaloppine al Limone. The food was good. The service was OK too.

Nice furnitures and decoration but a lot of rules that make you feel not as a client but the other way around. Pizza or any plate cant be shared. You are forced to eat one plate each. This never happened to me before. I am the person who likes to explore a bit of different tastes but there it was not possible. Card payment only over 25 Euros. I had the feeling that only those who order a lot of things and seem spend a lot of money are welcomed with appetizers and good service. Completely different than Venice where all were treated the same way. Food was ok but the complete experience was below my expectation.
