Fabulous meal on a Monday night in Koblenz. The restaurant was fully booked so we treated ourselves with a glass of Riesling while enjoying the pre dinner starter of delicious and summer fresh tomato and cucumber composees. I had the “steinbutt” and my husband clams and waygu veal all of which were made with attention to detail and were awesome. The desserts were of a good size ! And we enjoyed ever bite. Petit fours were served with eggnog before we were done. The price for our indulgence was very low compared to the high quality of the meal. We’ll be back…
We enjoyed a set tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was very creative and delicious and the selection of local wines were excellent. The owner and staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.
The cook already pointed out to us when selecting the menu that you better order the 5-course menu, because there are no saturation supplements and otherwise you wouldn't be fed! That was left and already necked. With a lot tam tam a gang was served after the other, in usually suppen dishes, but you were in vain looking for something neat to eat. the best was the rucksack! a ca. 2 cm tiny piece of meat! and that's odd! as 1st table you got 3 small pieces of different old gouda! the cheese world is so huge! there are excellent cheese varieties and then you get gouda? the wine selection was also underground! everyone who has a little warning from wein knows that a red wine as cuveé is nothing special, on the contrary! We have paid for this sweat almost 300 €. (2 Persomes)Fortunately our ice cream had left, otherwise we would have gone hungry into bed.We are often too hospitable in uplifted gastronomy in both domestic and outland and are also willing to pay for good food. what we have experienced here, however, was a groundless unharmedness! Even at johann lafer on the stromburg we were spoiled with delicious food and were fed to the house!
For a long time we wanted to visit the family schiller - stein again and unfortunately it only arrived in the januar. our lunch with the 6 channels - menu was grandios and the wine-free or alcohol-free was really remarkable. we wish the family schiller - stone many friendly guests who appreciate the perfect performance of the kitchen and service team.
