Auntie's - Ko Pha-Ngan

By far the best Thai food I've ever eaten. Here, no great attention is paid to the furnishings, but to the food. Grandma cooks here all by herself and there is love in every dish.

If you’re looking for delicious authentic Thai food, Auntie's is your place. It’s a little charming restaurant. The fried rice pineapple chicken was amazing and all dishes are priced very reasonable.

Best Taste, Deep Fried Red Snapper There used to be many cheap and delicious fish restaurants on Koh Phangan. But now that most restaurants are closed, this is the only place where you can eat delicious fish dishes at this price.

Auntie her partner were very friendly. Unfortunately the quality of the food was lacking. My Penang chicken curry did not even have 1 ingredient other than the chicken curry sauce. Not even kafir lime leaves or basil. Nothing. On top of that the rice was gluggy. The picture tells the story..

I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Koh Pha-ngan and Thongsala area. This restaurant is run by a one woman team. She makes the meals with love and you can really taste it in the food. Good value for money and generous servings. Wasn’t able to take photos of the food but we ordered the Thai menu and they were amazing! The owner is very hardworking, passionate and kind. It was my birthday the night we were here and it was even past closing time when she went out and got a small birthday cake for us.
