Myrtle's Chicken Beer - Knoxville

This restaurant is one of our favorites. Whenever we are in town, we head to Market Square and have some great food. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The tomato pie is hands down the best thing ever!! Pick a sauce for your chicken. Any sauce, you can’t go wrong. The service is always on point. We wish there was a location in the Nashville area.

As far as restaurant recommendations go, the Tomato Pie is a masterpiece and will not disappoint. Everything I ordered was spectacular, but the side dish so far over-shadowed everything else that I was full before I could really get to the chicken. What I did eat of the sweet potato fries and the chicken all paired really well together. A+, I’m coming back, and I’ve already recommended it to others

Chicken tenders were delicious. Side items were very good. Also we had collard greens and mashed potatoes and gravy. Multiple choices for dipping sauces to go with the chicken. They were also very good. Good customer service waitress, very attentive.

Love this spot, will definitely have to stop back when in the area. My Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was the best I’ve had, perfect balance of heat and flavor, the slaw that was on it was delicious as well. Sweet potato fries were delicious, no sauce required. After my meal was gone I finished my sons chicken tenders which were full of flavor and juice. I ate too much and didn’t want to stop!
