Chris' Fish & Chips - Knox

I love the fish and chips at this local restaurant. My favorite is the Sinker Burger. They have a good variety of menu options. It can get busy, so it's best to call ahead and order if you're getting takeaway. Overall, it's the best fish shop in Boronia.

After recently moving to the area, we were in search of a good fish and chips restaurant. I think we have found one. The prices were very reasonable, and all the food was cooked well and delicious. It was a little lacking in salt, but I prefer it that way so I can add more if needed, rather than being too salty, which is difficult to fix. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be returning customers.

Perfectly cooked chips, the best seafood stick I've ever had and flake that melted in my mouth; battered and cooked fresh as I watched.

My local chipper was closed (a Monday) and this was one I'd been to many years ago. When the food (flake and chips) were opened the (grilled) flake was very oily (the person cooking had overdone the oil on the grill) and the chips were soggy. While eating, I could taste something not right. I pulled out a long piece of black hair out from my mouth, that had been cooked into the flake. That for me is was the deal breaker. I won't return to that shop ever.
