Star Cafe - KNOWLTON

Nice place, good food but I would have appreciated better service.

The Star Cafe sits right in the middle of Knowlton and is a large, comfortable, popular, and welcoming establishment, with seating outside and occasional musical entertainment. The menu is appropriate for a cafe (rather small), but the food is tasty, and the service is fairly...efficient. The small serving of fries was disappointing, but the free extras were appreciated.

Great spot to stop for lunch ... sit on the patio overlooking the river and enjoy a meal with a great cup of coffee!

You know what you’re going to get when you visit the Star Cafe, it’s not fine dining for sure but it’s down home simple burgers, tuna sandwiches, all you can drink coffees and so on. You want fries with that, well you’ll get them. It’s...a simple but fun menu, not expensive. It’s an easy going place with tons of parking making it easy. They have floors so lots of room, as downstairs is limited. It’s family friendly, it’s great together with a group, or solo. I particularly enjoy their breakfasts as they are so inexpensive. Wood beams give it such a homey feel.
