Waldcafé - Kleinmachnow

We landed randomly in the forest café. We wanted to eat ice cream in warm weather and remembered that there was an ice cream café in the town hall market of Kleinmachnow. On the way there I noticed the forest café with shaded seats on the terrace. I felt it anyway. How good: The ice cream café on the city hall market no longer existed. Then to the forest café. We were looking for a beautiful shaded table on the terrace in front of the house and took place. A friendly lady appeared and asked for our wishes. We asked for ice and got the cards. The offer included various drinks, including numerous coffee and chocolate specialities. Also ice cups. We were fiend, ordered and persisted about the things that should come. After a short time, the ordered, neat coffee was served, a little later the lush ice cups. My pear Helene contained a large part of vanilla ice cream as well as some pear pieces, all smeared with cream. The amaretto cup of my companion was so extensive, with many amarettini. The ice cream comes from Schöller. The prices were average. They obviously live by selling the delicious cakes we admire in the edition. There are also many custom designs; to begin school, to wedding etc. The goods are also offered on a few weekly markets in Berlin. Details can be found on the website. Update October 2014 Since 11.10.14 the Waldcafé is located at the new address at Zehlendorfer Damm 9 in Kleinmachnow, right behind the Berlin city border. It is moved there by Hohe Kiefer 39. On 12.10.14 my companion had the idea of looking at the “new” forest café. Said, done. On Sunday afternoon we drove. My fear that it will be fully confirmed. Many, many guests sat at the outdoor tables or stood at the cake counter. Nevertheless, there was a place on the terrace for us. Everything was well organized for the abundance. We received the desired coffee very quickly. For the cake, my companion stood at the cake counter for a while and got a note after ordering the cake. We gave it to one of the operators and after some waiting time we received two delicious cake pieces. Covered apple cake for my companion and blueberry cream for me. Both cakes tasted delicious. Only the cream ordered for apple cake was not served. What is it, then without cream. During payment we pointed out the missing cream, it was deducted from the bill without standing. We heard how an operation on the side table meant there was a second cup and a second coffee machine. That must happen exactly after the opening. Compared to the old location, the café has become bigger; with a beautiful outdoor area. In addition, it is now disabled: There is a flat access and a disabled toilet. We enjoyed both visits, both at the old and at the new address. We come back and recommend the Waldcafé for a visit.
