Bidrage med feedbackThis review is by hocheckhuette as accommodation. do you want someone to sleep your bags and bring you room service? Do you want to keep your distance from the Hoi-Poloi? have you...Hathunde (or allergic)? would you like to be seen in her maserati and have her more money than taste? then you should stay in town. or are you covered? do you want to meet friendly skiers from all over the world? Do they like the host to know their names and to be really happy when they come back from skiing for the day? then this is the only place for them! I am am american and will share myself with this perspective for fellow travelers. first this is directly below the top of the hahnenkahm gondel and next to the famous streif descent. in contrast to most American ski areas means staying up here that the only possibility as they are here on the gondola, there is no access to the car. that means logistic, there are a few things that they should think about. they should be ideally packed in a backpack, so they can simply wear in snow. they need to buy a ticket to get on the gondel, but don't worry, their ticket for the next day allows them to get on the gondel from 3 o'clock on the day before. they have to get up here before the lifts close every day! next, the institutions. there are a series of private rooms that I think generally sleep 4 and there are some more common rooms as they would find a hostel that a baptism can stay in. I think they can indicate. I think some rooms have a private toilet and shower, but I don't know. there is a restaurant that also serves as a community room for guests who get other visitors during the day. the included breakfast is a continental standard breakfast and the included dinner are large three courses with soup/salad, main meal and dessert. (I don't know if they can put special diets) eating here was always good. the lookout from here is amazing that the whole kitzbuhel is under them. above all, the friendliness of this place. michelle, the owner/operator, is simply the best. This place attracts people who want to ski who are not there to show themselves are happy and open to meet other people, and we ended up with several friends that we already have plans to see again. this place is great. you should stay here.
The situation this place is excellent, the ambiente also inside is so sweet. this place is very sweet with its red and white vichy checked tablecloths and beautiful individual tables with a wonderful rustic charm. we stayed here at the end of a...big day too foot, but be careful not to spend too long on the amazing outsight, because if they don't have a check on the time they just forget the time and miss the last cable car back to the hill that is random around 5pm sharp. the selection of drinks is good and also many non-alcoholic drinks. we didn't eat anything, but it can't comment. the waitress was also incredibly friendly and actually she was telling us about the time of the last cable. we will definitely recommend this place for beautiful drinks. they enjoy the breathtaking view.
Superb restaurant with amazing mountain views just below the top gondola station. We sat outside overlooking the town of kitzbuhel and had some excellent food at cheaper rpices than the main restaurant ot the top station. you have to walk 50m down a steep slope...but the food and view is worth it. The cakes are fresh made and superb Sachertorte, Apfelstrudel and MarrillionKuche are highly recommended. We also had , on another day, the best Tiroler Grostl we've had for many a year with fresh Sauerkraut brilliant value. good service, clean and welcoming inside as well a\s loads of tables outside overlooking the valley and the Kitzbuhler horn in the distance.
Only a short (step) walk downhill from the hahnenkammbahn top station is the beautiful, rustic, high-echutte restaurant. drive on the back around the sun and enjoy a magnificent view (they are also a small children's playground). if the weather is not so good, then inside the hut is also interesting. I had some good hearty mountain food here, but to this occasion had simply coffee and cake – still well recommended.
The hat is an abyss to eat. it is very traditional and the menu is varied. in the inner it is very cozy and friendly. the food was great and delicious. the rosti was excellent as all our group had. very reasonable prices. would go back and recommend.
