Bidrage med feedbackIf you are looking for a great cup of coffee and delicious baked goods, head to Lil's Cafe in Kittery! I had a brunch for 150 people after my niece's wedding. Lil's provided us with the most amazing muffins, assorted pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola.Everyone at the brunch raved about the food. If you are looking to cater an event Deb, the owner is a pleasure to work with. Sheis responsive, patient, and will make sure your event is perfect. Lil's team of bakers are the best! Glad I found Lil's inKittery! Try the ham and cheese croissant!
I've only been living in the area for a month, but Lil's has already become a fixture of my weekend routine. Bike ride, and then treats at Lil's! Their coffee is quite nice, and I love the fact that both the baked goods and food are delicious, so Ihave something healthy (and tasty) to eat, and then a treat! Green Goddess sandwich was an unexpected hit, and the Cruffinsare... amazing.
For years we have made Lil?s Cafe a must stop while visiting Maine. During the Covid epidemic we got our orders placed online. This past Sunday we visited the cafe early in the morning hoping to find a well stocked showcase. We were thus rewarded. Thebaked goods are wonderful, the staff on that day would get one star at best. After stepping up to the counter and beginning togive my lengthy order I was asked to shift over to the next register. The person taking my order became the person filling myorder while another young woman keyed me into the system. I had been giving my order to the person filling my order but thecashier sanctimoniously said to me ?Hon, hon, look at me I?m taking your order, she can read it over my shoulder? First, I amnot Hon. I am a very cognizant 75 year old woman who was in a loud and somewhat hectic environment trying my best to give a$75.00 order and get it right since one does not have the benefit of having the items in front of them to chose from. Of coursein reading back my order items were omitted. We also found later we had been read back an item that was not in the box. All thissaid I still tipped the staff as my family is in the industry and I don?t believe in making all pay for the one weak link. Yourproduct is great, worth standing in line for. We?ve supported your business since you opened even though we live in the HudsonValley of NY. We?ve also sent a lot of folks your way. I honestly was so put off by the ingenuity of your staff I may think longand hard before going out of my way to stop again.
Cute and tasty coffee shop snugly tucked on the main drag. You come here for the baked goods and coffee, seems much anything else leads to a mixed bag of results. The infamous crueler was almost inexcusably sweet and went down well with a shot of theirexpresso (be warned their shots are doubles already . They had gluten free and allergen friendly baked goods and ready to go.I had one of their breakfast wraps (egg, black bean spread, and hot greens? and was sad to see that it didn?t hold up well inthe heated drawer and sadly threw it away. They also hosted a cute used vinyl vault inside the store just to the backleft. Highly advise for a cute spot to check in, grab a snack, and sit for a coffee. Bonus points: check out a smoothie fromthe repurposed atm booth just ten steps away to compliment their offerings. One star removed for the subpar breakfast wrapexperience
A wonderful little bakery with the most delicious donuts.
