Beach Pea Baking Co - KITTERY

For those of us who have supported and love Beach Pea for their entire existence I am saddened to say my last 3 trips have brought me to the point of not returning. The quality of the baguettes, desserts, etc has so declined. I know everyone has supply and staffing issues but Beach Pea's past quality is a sad thing to have been lost. They have been the go to for many delightful years of bakery enjoyment. I do hope things turn around soon. I have other Kitteryfriends who have left and are choosing to not return. Best of luck and I do hope you find your groove back! It is very disappointing to see this change.

I have gone here for years! The roasted veggie sandwich is out of this world. The cookies are delicious as well. Always busy because everything is yummy!

Great little place to stop for a sandwich. the person who took my order realized that I vegan based on my sandwich and said that the croissants, focaccia, ciabatta and ciabattina are not vegan, but all the other brote are.

This place is never busy. we have learned from the masters, there is never a slow time. the staff was efficient and helpful and waited was short and many self-bedded seats were available, with workers who pick up their food that was ordered at the counter. this is not a vegan-only target, but it has three vegan choices for sandwiches already made including marinated tofu and a mixed veggie option. instead we chose a self-built sandwich and each of us had a fantastic, tasty product. my contain marinated tofu and roasted apples. the employee asked them about each layer: it offers the choices, then they would choose. the accommodation is an old-fashioned beach house with seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. it's nice and the food was delicious.

I wish I could give a 4.9 review because unfortunately we do not get any of the places we bought and did not notice until somewhere on the Interstate in New York, lol. But the salad, drinks, Eclair and especially her fougasse were incredible.
