Anneke Jans - KITTERY

Everything was fantastic from appetizer to dessert. A wonderful, yet manageable, wine list as well as other spirits offered. Rhe staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It is definitely a place to visit again.

Enjoyed a lovely meal. Started with Wild Maine Mussels, Bacon, Onions, White Wine, Cream, and Great Hill Blue Cheese. Excellent broth! Next, Fried Oysters w/ Sweet Chili Aioli, Jicama, Shishito Peppers. Very nice. Entree, tagliatelle pasta with Housemade Bolognese. My martinis were perfect. Thanks to all at Anneke Jans for a wonderful evening of dining. We'll be back.

Anneke Jans is a “go to” location for us. We hosted two additional couples from out of town. All enjoyed a terrific meal and the peasant ambience of the restaurant and Kittery Portside!

Our favorite restaurant as you walk through the doors, you're always greeted with a warm smile. The restaurant was quite busy and we were immediately seated. Our server was a bit slow and forgot something we'd requested. We both ordered steak frites which is consistently beyond excellent! Our go to when we want a lovely night out.

We had a delicious dinner at Anneke Jans. After living in the area for a while, my only regret is that we hadn't tried this restaurant sooner! We ordered the burrata, duck, and chicken. All were delicious and unique. Some of the flavors were unexpected but ended up going together very well. The ambiance was also very nice. The restaurant is quaint with a colonial feel. We will definitely be back soon!
