Star Wok Chinese Restaurant - Kitchener

I ordered pad Thai and pork fried rice from Star Wok. Both dishes were flavorless, with the pad Thai being particularly disappointing. It had a strange smell and looked unappetizing, almost like a pack of worms. The flavors were bland and lacked ingredients. The pork fried rice also lacked flavor and tasted like something a 12-year-old would cook at home. When I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, the woman who answered was rude. I will not be ordering from Star Wok again.

A request like a little less sauce than last time for takeout is pretty basic. They refused to do it, even though they 've done it before. The kitchen staff apparently have decided that they have a problem with any kind of authority. Shape up, people. As a side note, most of their food is dry and covered in sauce. If they 'd fix those issues, it would be great as the flavours are really good. No balance, though.

I paid $9.95 for my meal and found the food to be average. However, I was put off by the dirty napkin holder on the table, which made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Additionally, there was only one garbage can with a sign stating no recycling, indicating a lack of environmental concern. Overall, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

The food arrived faster than expected. Prices are average, but the quality of the food was excellent. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

I ordered combination plate 10 which consisted of an egg roll, beef with onions, jar doo wings and fried rice chicken I think). Wings were a little soggy, only 3 pieces of beef and lots of onions, green peppers and carrots and I found sauce sweet and not what I expected for beef and onions, and the fried rice was not memorable as I can't recall what type it was. This was my second and last try with this restaurant.
