Bidrage med feedbackGreat place for some delicious pho and vermicelli. Located at the basement or lower level of the plaza. Large space with plenty of seating. Food was top notch. There is as nothing to complain about. We stopped by on NYE before they closed down for the day and were served promptly. They also serve Thai food and bubble tea here, but we didn't try any.
At arrival, initially we were impressed and did like to give 5 but the pho threw us off at the end. So the place is very clean, service was quick and they were able to adhere to our request for customizing the menu items. The Singapore noodles was amazing though wish had more shrimp. The pho was ok with few beef and celery, the broth was super soar, it was almost like they failed by using too much tomato and I could barely finish half. Infact I tried to just strain the noodles and beef and veges. Other than that, the quantity for the price was decent for the location, and space is well setup for both couple or family dinning. I hope the owners can pay little more attention to quality of food and maintain everything else.
We went on a weekend afternoon and got seated right away. We got 342. Pho Dac Biet size M $11) and 625. Tiger shrimps grilled pork with vermicelli $12). The food came pretty fast in about 10 minutes. The pho soup is pretty good here, and a decent portion. The vermicelli had a lot of toppings and it was a good size as well. The only downside was that the veggies had a lot of moisture and with the fish sauce, there was too much liquid on the bottom causing it to be a bit soggy. Not all of the waiters are fluent in English so when I asked about some missing ingredients in the pho dish they were not able to understand, but another employee came to clear up the misunderstanding. My family and I used to come here all the time, and some things have definitely changed. I still enjoy coming here from time to time, but not as frequently anymore due to changes in the ingredients of their dishes and their fruit smoothies aren’t very good anymore, it is more like slush than made from fruits.
Most recently went with a family of 8 including 2 children, ordered a number of dishes and all were excellent. Owners workers were friendly to us. Very good pho, and very good price for the portion of food received. In my opinion definitely worth choosing above other restaurants surrounding it.
Tldr: I ordered #321 Rare beef and beef ball pho and shared Vietnamese Style pork and shrimp salad rolls. 100% would get the salad rolls again, tasted super good. Pho was also good, as I expected no less from Pho Dau Bo! Would recommend for quick and authentic Pho. I didn't realize I hadn't had pho for almost a year until I've decided to visit Pho Dau Bo today. I was extremely excited as I have previously (pre-pandemic) been here before and really enjoyed my food along with how fast the food arrived to our table. When it comes to Pho restaurants and their appetizers, it's really hard to know what to order. My friends have already tried some and said we should share the vietnamese style pork&shrimp salad rolls. THEY WERE AMAZING. Peanut sauce perfeclty complimented the rolls wrapped with rice papers, shrimp did not taste fishy at all along with lots of veggies. As for pho, I ordered the rare beef and beef ball pho. The broth was amazing, noodles were also great. One comment to add though is the beef was not as soft as I expected. Other than that minor issue, we had a wonderful (and quick) time at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for cheap and fast pho!
