King Wok Chinese Food - Kitchener

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could, as that is what it truly deserves. The customer service was terrible.

There lunch special is a great price,the food is amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone, I have gotten my whole office hooked on this place.

The restaurant used to be located at Victoria and Weber street, but had to move due to the expansion of Weber street for the LRT. It has finally found a new home in Krug Street Plaza. Though not fancy, the food is very good. I had my usual dish, Singapore Vermicelli, and it was delicious. It was priced at $6.95 on the lunch special menu and came with a nice plate of noodles starting with a soup. I have tried other dishes as well and have never been disappointed. It is a nice family-run place and I am glad to have found them again!

We had take out on a Sunday evening and unfortunately it wasn't good. We used to get takeout quite often from their old location but they have lost their touch. The rice was overcooked and mushy as was the noodles in the Cantonese Chow Mein. We had a few different dishes and they all seemed to have the same taste and sauce. It was like they had reheated food left over from the day before. Sorry King Wok we won't be back, hope you get your mojo back.

Good prices and great food and service. I will definitely come back, as it is now my favorite Chinese spot.
