Nantucket Shrimp Shack - Kissimmee

First off I have to start this off with Im a very easy going person when its comes to service , and have pretty simple, and realistic expectations. I tried to order on the phone direct with this restaurant first. They told me I need to use a third part app such as DoorDash. Not a problem as I have a door dash account. I placed the order through the app. Timing and delivery person were great. My problem is this restaurant missed my wifes dinner completely minus her coleslaw. When we called the restaurant to let them know, they said we needed to send the complaint to the app company. Its frustrating to me that I tried to order directly with the restaurant, and was directed to the app. Second is my issue isnt with the app company, but this restaurant. They are the ones that messed this all up, but have zero culpability in the resolution. This doesnt include other issues with our order which was pretty simple as we only had one other special request. Im not requesting, or expecting a huge discount, or freebies, I would just like the credit for the food that did not arrive that was on the order I placed.

Unfortunately, almost every meal I have ordered in Orlando that was delivered to me was barely acceptable. This restaurant was no different. Food came barely warm, The presentation was fair and I ordered fried shrimp with fries and a side of corn. The corn was the only item that was good and they forgot the cocktail sauce, which is the main component to enjoying fried shrimp. Step up to the plate Orlando. Take more care with your orders. Quality and presentation is everything.

What a hidden gem on 192 I almost hesitate to post hoping to keep it that way. I am a snow crab snob and let me tell you, these were the meatiest, tastiest snow crabs I have ever had....ever. And the sweet potato tots!!!!!! We are going to make this a regular stop on our restaurant loop.

Good food at reasonable value. We had the mixed shrimp plate, hush puppies, calamari, okra. All were excellent. If it wasn’t such a hike from Winter Park, we would go back.

Food was good, but not what we expected. Ordered the Shrimp Boil for 2 and was more mussels and clams than there were shrimp or crawfish. We gave never had a boil where the potatoes were fried and everything was drowned in garlic butter. If we were to go back we would probably only order sandwiches or baskets.
