Bidrage med feedbackNote that there is a 18% obligatory congratulation in billing along with excessive overconvincing to order more. I am not against the gratulation at all, but it is simply wrong if there is zero ambiente and sub par service. eating, the good presentation picture for the pani puri, the taste is good, but nothing great I would come here.
TL:DR Overpriced and mediocre fusion with a mandatory tip and chaotic service. The food is okay, it's not special, it's not groundbreaking, it's just okay. The prices are a little high in comparison to the competition and the service is slow or wrong. After what can be described as underwhelming with a side of chic decor you are charged a mandatory tip and they only take exact change to ensure this. Literally go to any other place with butter chicken within a five mile radius.
Went there during covid to dine in. They have limited tables available and go with strict reservations.on the flip side, they follow covid related precautions really well and through that I can trust that food here will follow good health code.Overall the food was really good and we enjoyed the concept. Do not expect traditional food as they have added their own twist to traditional dishes. I loved the vada pav, fries and malpua. Bhature in chole bhature were unconventional with cheese in between but tasted good nevertheless. Imli wings were the low-light but still nice tasting. They had too much imli(tamarind) and the chicken was not great either. Will definitely recommend.
The best Contemporary Indian Restaurant on the Eastside. The new location has great new additions perfect flavors. I love this place more more with each visit. The Tacos are out of the, the chicken curry bowl is very beautiful presented heavenly. An Indian restaurant with good ambiance, out of the world food great innovative drinks also various selection of chai. It’s a place if you go once you are addicted to it forever.
I'm usually wary of Indian fusion restaurants that can end up being gimmicky with sub par food at above par prices. Not so with Guilt Trip.We were primarily interested in the shareable chaat' style options and ordered a few for the table. The butter chicken chaat was the star of the show with some great butter chicken flavor. Hara bara kebab was also excellent and a great vegetarian option (Guilt Trip has loads of great vegetarian options The pani puri was a bit on the pricey side for 6 puris and was the only underwhelming item.Onto entrees, my table shared the bhatura remix. It was non-greasy and incredibly fresh. The chole was well seasoned and flavorful. Completely worth the calories, and depending on how hungry you are, this dish could easily be split between two.We finished with butterscotch kheer which was a great twist on the classic and came with a cute presentation. The perfect refreshing end to our meal.Overall, they put a creative spin on much loved classics, in an updated setting with incredibly kind and attentive staff. I will absolutely be back soon Guilt Trip is worth the trip!
