This was a nice little pub in the middle of town. The main focus for food is on pies with a few other items like scampi and burgers. The pies are absolutely delicious with very light pastry encasing a variety of fillings. The toilets are fairly basic and both times we called the place was very quiet. Staff are extremely friendly. Lovely olde worlde pub with a limited menu. Speciality is pies that are bought in and reheated. They were nice but the pastry suffered for this practice. A good choice of real ales.
