Cisco's Mexicano - Kingston

The service was fast and everyone enjoyed their meals at this restaurant. We ordered fajitas, prawn and chorizo burrito, nachos, and burrito bowl. They also had a wide variety of tequila choices, which was impressive. It's unclear how Zomato determined the price range, as all our meals were around $20.

I was a huge fan of Francisco's, so I was really sad when it closed. However, I was thrilled when Cisco's opened a year later. We have been 3 or 4 times and have always had a fantastic experience.

We visited Cisco's on a Friday night without a reservation and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Despite being busy, they were able to find us a table. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining, with the outdoor seating enclosed in a see-through canopy. We were seated indoors, where the tables were clean and the staff promptly brought us water and menus. The atmosphere at Cisco's was a bit lacking in the vibrant charm that I associate with Mexican restaurants. The music was almost nonexistent, making it possible to hear people eating their crunchy tacos. The decor was also uninspiring, lacking the typical Western-inspired Mexican restaurant ambiance of dim lighting, dark walls, and candles. For our appetizer, we ordered the Con Queso, a cheesy dip with a generous serving of corn chips. The dip was tasty and satisfying as a starter. For our main dishes, we opted for Nachos with shredded beef instead of minced beef. The nachos were delicious, with crunchy chips, tender and slightly spicy beef, and plenty of cheese. We also tried the Enchiladas with beef, which turned out to be more like slow-cooked steak strips. While different from what we expected, the dish was enjoyable. However, the Mexican rice was bland and the refried beans seemed store-bought. Overall, the food at Cisco's was flavorful and served quickly. The restaurant offers a good selection of drinks, and the staff were attentive and accommodating. However, the ambiance fell short of our expectations, and some of the dishes lacked depth in flavor.

Excellent atmosphere. Above average service. Waitstaff go the extra mile for you. The food is excellent and the owner is a legend. Always making sure everyone is happy even on a busy Saturday night.

I went last night with my grandmother and 2 other guests (5 in total . From the moment I made the booking through to the end of our meal the staff were friendly and accommodating. I mentioned during my booking my grandmothers mobility issues and a few other things and when we arrived they had ensured a table with clear easy access and a cushioned sturdy chair for her. Even down to taking orders they were attentive and friendly (without being patronising or condescending that sometimes happens when people talk to someone elderly . Anyone who treats my Nanna nicely is top on my list.<br/ <br/ The food was delicious! We shared a small beef nachos and a quesadilla for entree the nachos were massive (considering they were a small and we were practically full by mains! I had the chicken fajitas for main and they were fresh and very tasty. Everyone really enjoyed their food and it was all very reasonably priced considering how full we all were at the end!<br/ <br/ They allow BYO wine at $5 a bottle so we brought our own, so I can't comment too much on the drinks menu but we loved everything and had a fantastic night!
