Bidrage med feedbackI have never seen a Café Nero so below standard. The Café Nero at Eden Walk was very subpar; the tables were sticky and dirty. The cakes served were dry and unappetizing. The staff were rude and lacked politeness. I definitely will not be returning.
The service at this cafe was excellent with top-notch staff and a very clean environment. We enjoyed the ambiance here. Despite the long queue, it was handled quickly and efficiently so we didn't feel like we were waiting for a long time.
My three-year-old was in urgent need of using the restroom, so I asked a staff member if he could use it. Unfortunately, the staff member refused, stating that the restroom was only for customers. Despite explaining my son's desperate situation and stating that finding another restroom was not an option, the staff member still refused. In the end, I had to purchase something just so my toddler could use the restroom, which turned out to be filthy, blocked, and had not been cleaned in a long time. While I understand the need to prevent misuse of facilities, I believe it is unacceptable to deny a three-year-old child access to a restroom in such circumstances.
Coffee is standard Nero coffee and the staff are good. Seating seems to be placed so you don't want to sit there very long. It was cold outside when I went and the only table available was by the door. This meant when it opened it was very cold, especially when a 3 different people stood holding the door open! Had a toastie and have to say, I have definitely had many better. Not somewhere I would rush back to
I often go to this branch of Cafe Neros for breakfast with my 2 year old son. The staff are friendly and often help take my drinks and food to my table. My son love the babychinos here and they are free unlike some of the chain cafes. The bacon rolls and croissants are also good.
