Loved the place. Had a great dinner. Tasty food. Good quantity. Friendly staff.

The front restaurant has a stylish set up with lovely decor. We had chicken parmigiana. Lots of cheese. The chicken was good but not the best. Apple slaw was a nice touch. Really great staff! Will be back.

Come here if you want the best chicken Parmigiana in Tasmania! It was that good. Will definitely be coming here again and recommending it to all my mates. Efficient service too and amazing view, I had a stroll along the beach with an ice cream afterwards.

Went for my step daughters birthday. My meal of shared lamb was pretty good. All meals came out fast even though it was mother's Day. Above average pub fare

Came to Kingston beach just a little after lunch time and decided to check out the Salty Dog for a small meal. At that time they do only do a snacks menu (I think we were there around 3-4pm? but regardless I checked out the menu online and it’s just a small section of the dinner menu is made into a snacks menu. Options were clearly labelled vegan. The snacks menu was only a small page long so the vegan options were only about 4 items but they were all goodies! I ordered the cauliflower which was so yum, along with some chips. This restaurant is right on the beach with great beach views, very modern and very friendly staff. It was a bit windy so we sat inside (facing the beach but there is an outdoor area for seating, looks great for kids and looks like they have a lot going on in that area.
