Bidrage med feedbackWe had made a reservation at this restaurant and arrived on time on a Saturday afternoon, only to be disappointed to learn that the restaurant no longer offered lunch. The staff seemed unaware of our booking. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and the lady at the counter mentioned she was unable to access their emails.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served hot. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Although the menu held great promise, the restaurant itself was very basic and lacked ambiance. Despite this, we decided to give it a try. The starters (calamari and duck rillette) were okay, but the main courses were disappointing. The vegetables were overcooked, the hake and haddock fish cake was dry, and the coq au vin was unappetizing. We sent both dishes back and ultimately decided to leave. However, the waitress was fantastic, very helpful and apologetic. The restaurant ended up not charging us for the mains. Hopefully, the poor cooking was just a one-time issue, but the restaurant could definitely benefit from hiring an interior designer.
Food was good and well presented, service was reasonably fast. However, it seemed the kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand. The interior of the restaurant was clean and well-spaced; however, the walls could do with some art work as it's a bit devoid of personality.
