The Gin Trap Inn

We stayed here in the past and the room was fantastic clean and decorated perfectly. This year I decided to ask my partner to marry me, I decided to get in touch with the gin trap and I know how much we both love it here and Norfolk is one of our favourite places. Where do I start, staff couldn’t be more helpful they helped arrange the evening and were messaging me to make sure everything was right. We had a section of the á la carte restaurant all to our selves, decorated with balloons and flowers it looked perfect! Now onto the food and service, food was incredible and couldn’t fault a single part of our meal. The service was professional and everything arrived on time and correct. The atmosphere, lighting and decor was superior and Luxary. I would like to extend my thank you to Paige who works at the gin trap she was so helpful throughout the whole process and an absolute credit to the gin trap. I had a pleasant experience staying at this restaurant recently, but I was slightly let down by the fact that there is no guarantee of a dinner table if you are a guest staying at the establishment. Priority is given to customers who book at the pub rather than those staying at the accommodation. I would rate the rooms a 3, the service a 3, and the location a 4.

Dropped in on our travels on the off chance we could get a table on a busy Sunday with our two dogs and we were so glad we did! Food was absolutely beautiful, so delicious, felt like a real treat. Lovely warm welcome and service from all the staff. Service: 5 Location: 5
