Great choice on the menu for vegans, delicious food, staff very friendly and helpful. The vegan choices are not imitated, they are on a par with the rest of the menu.

Good options for main and desert, but not for beginners or just snacks with a pint.

Always enjoy going to a pub with a separate vegan menu. The Rose and Crown was the venue for an annual Christmas meeting with my school friends. We had a table in a cozy corner and the crackers added a nice festive touch. Well dimensioned portions and we all enjoyed the food. Would be happy to come back.

Separate vegan menu : the vegan tart was delicious pastry case filled with veggies and a leek sauce, also had vegan burger and salad option ; three vegan sides and some vegan desserts the chocolate torte was very good. would definitely eat here again wen we are in the area. only slight downside was the service three of our main meals appeared but it was several minutes before the fourth and our side dishes appeared :

Really busy pub with a great Sunday lunch. Dog friendly too. Large car park easy to find off the Motorway a reasonable price and the portions are large.
