Bidrage med feedbackDefinitely a taste of heaven on earth. We are always looking forward to visiting the Cabin when we go to the slopes.
Not only are the waffles amazing, but the owner took care of his customers! There was a misunderstanding with my 12-year-old son and an employee. I made the owner aware and not only did he do something nice for my son, he wrote his wonderful letter that encouraged his actions!! Thank you.
Okay, so this review is about 5 years too late, but only because I didn't know what a rare jewel that is and looking for one in every resort I went. I raided to friends about it and swore that such a heavenly place could exist. Unbelievable. I drive to many resorts in the USA and Canada and no one has a waffle cabin or more important, THE Waffle Cabin, everywhere less a midway ride on the ski slopes. I still dream and bless this waffle so much that I purchase an imported industrial waffle manufacturer (Mere $1500, Heikes) and shipping the sugar beads from Belgium. I live now in Denver and Colorado with all the glorious resorts here have no Waffle Cabins except in Crested Butte. I smell franchise chance. Bring more to CO! In Killington, VT, where I went, it is in a small brown bow halfway along the slope and they make it right in front of you. Nothing but waffles. Personally, I'm not a waffle fan, but these aren't like any other I've ever tasted. They are heavenly, with an almost crispy melted sugar glaze (like hard candy) and hot and soft on the inside dipped with chocolate. I jumped the barrel 3x down a day and got one each time. Yeah, it was so amazing. Add a coffee or a hot apple wine and there is the energy to get down the slope. Screw the calories, just enjoy!! And maybe if your friends are nice, you get something extra to share with them.
Wow what a great treat at Jay Peak. Absolutely incredible tasting waffle.
A must if you're on the mountain! And the chocolate puzzle is necessary!
