Mercado Azteca - Killeen

We had made very fresh, delicious breakfast tacos! it was nice to pick up fresh products and tortillas later and we would have bought marinated chicken if we had a cooler on board. we're coming back!

This restaurant has incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who are always ready to help. The portion sizes are just right, and there are options available for those who are a bit picky. The tortillas are soft and served hot! They also offer a great variety of funnel options. The fresh meat section has some excellent cuts of meat, and there’s a wonderful selection overall. In one corner, there’s a bakery, and there's also a lovely smoothie and drink bar filled with fresh fruits ready to be blended.

This restaurant is an excellent spot for an authentic Mexican lunch. The tortillas are the best in the city, and the horchata (rice drink) is equally fantastic. The taco counter offers a wide variety of meats, with the barbacoa and carnitas being particularly outstanding. They also provide a selection of fresh toppings like lime and cilantro. Additionally, the butcher counter features some exceptional items, especially the fresh chorizo and marinated chicken.

This is an excellent spot for Mexican food! They offer a wide selection of meats to choose from. There's also a separate bar dedicated to all the condiments, including guacamole and cilantro. It's the best Mexican meal I've ever had!
