Beavertails - KILLALOE

The original Beaver Tail site. As always a treat for a lunch snack. Very recommended

I tried my first Beaver Tail in Ottawa, another one in Halifax-NS, Cavendish-PEI, Niagara am See-ON, last in Killaloe, ON. This time, my husband and I chose the Killaloe Beaver Tail, which is the classic (Cimt and Sugar) with lemon. Very sweet, but Canadian.

Beavertails are beavertails. But usually you get the delicious local treat with a smile. But the younger girl in the Beavertails/burger joint was full of attitude! It's like we're not good enough for them to serve as customers. Your attitude will not... help with the sale. Anyway, it's not going back.

This device has two parts: a beavertail van and a chip van serving hot dogs, hamburgers, onion rings and the like. The food was fine, but the seating area was full of wasps and we ended early.

WOW WOW WOW the Beaver Tails are to die for well worth the stop just for these., hubby and I both had the Killaloe Sunrise Beaver Tail, absolutely to die for. They also serve poutine, burgers, chicken fingers. I had the Onion and Bacon Poutine,...Hubby had the reg Poutine......they are loaded and the portions are very very generous. Since we have a trailer just down the road on Golden Lake we will definitely be returning. If you are driving past its well worth the 2 min detour off hwy 60. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!
