Canton House - Killaloe

This takeaway was recommended by neighbours. It's every bit as good as they said. There's an extensive menu with all the dishes I love. The food is very fresh, lots of lovely vegetables in the dishes, and very tasty. Very nice helpful staff too. Highly recommended.

Put off ordering from here again everyone makes mistakes but management then that cannot apologies for incompetent staff makes for a very bad experience. Rang the order order in an hour and a half in advance 3 issues with the order not one apology even thou their staff member that took the order was the person that created the problem. €30 spent on a meal that we were left with half of the sides missing and wrong sauces I would never order again avoid bad management

I ordered a crispy chicken and pineapple meal. Takeaway. Lots of it but it was awful. Chicken was hard and chewy. Clearly chicken was either not fresh or was reheated. Possibly frozen. Couldn’t finish it and had to throw it out. If you can’t cook fresh food either tell people straight or give up. Avoid. I live local so it’s a real pity as I love Chinese food but won’t be going back here.

We ordered takeaway from here for delivery while holidaying in Killaloe. They forgot to send out one of our meals. It took us a solid 10 minutes of phoning repeatedly to get back through to the takeaway on the phone. When we did we were told it would take a further 40 minutes to get the food out to us and the manager refused to refund the cost of the meal or delivery to compensate us which was absolutely shocking considering the takeaway were at fault. The food we did get was average at best. Would not recommend.

Beautiful restaurant inside with lovely, fresh food and friendly service. We were a group of 7 and found portions large and shareable. The duck crepes were amazing. My young kids loved the chicken curry. From the outside, you don’t know what’s inside, but its so lovely. Highly recommend.
