P. Dan's Bar Restaurant - Killadoon

A little off the beaten trace, but always busy, this is what you want to see when you try a place for the first time. We had a few vistis here because the experience is so good. If you get a fine evening the sunset is a sight to behold and silence descends as people are transfixed. The food is very well proportioned and presented and is reasonably priced. We are a group of 10 so booking was essential but each time we were given a couple of alternatives and found our reserved sign when we got there. Highly recommended

Greed at its finest.. despite it being tourist season. Not opened for food mon or tues. Despite him being landlord and opening hours are all over the shop depending where you look online.. QUITE HAPPY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND OPEN AT 9PM WITH MUSIC BLARING INTO NIGHT Tip.. if staying here and coming long journey govto eat in Wesport first..louisburgh just a disaster.

Although on a previous occasion the food was good, and that is why we came back, the chef must have been absent as the food was terrible. The batter of the fish was like a brick , the chips bad , the vegetarian dish tasteless , too many dishes on the menu had chilli in them, probably to hide the tasteless food. Extremely disappointing and it did not make up for the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful location. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was reasonably priced and hit the spot for adults and kids !!! A pint overlooking Clare Island is a must !!!

We visited P Dans a few times during our recent staycation in Killadoon. The food is really good. The views of the Atlantic ocean are fab if you are there when the sun sets, it is truly amazing!
