Left Bank - Kilkenny

Never have I had such a horrific experience with bouncers on a night out, I was with my friends at the bar in the nightclub when two bouncers (a male and a female) cornered me and intimidated me as it was two against one, they told me they wanted to speak to me. When I asked why they said it was over my behaviour the last night I was in there. Which I was not at fault for, a girl started an argument with myself and I defended myself in the situation. The bouncers told me repeatedly I wasn't welcome in left bank and that I'm always starting trouble, this is an absolute lie as I've been going there for years and the only incident was the last night I was in there, I also had a problem with the bouncers another night in which the manager actually called me to meet face to face and apologised on behalf of the bouncers behaviour as it was totally uncalled for. When I tried to explain to the male bouncer that I had spoke to the bar manager about this incident he told me that the manager doesn't speak for him because he's head of security. The bouncers also wouldn't let me get a word in and kept calling me aggressive which I wasn't. The male bouncer then proceeded to follow me out as I left and tried provoking me by telling me I should be ashamed of myself and that I should look in the mirror at myself, he also told me I needed to be in a mental health facility which is absolutely DISGUSTING. He continuously laughed in my face and tried to belittle me. The bouncers are on a weird, pathetic power trip and I will absolutely be going further about this provoked harrassment. All those involved in the treatment of myself and those who watched it unfold should be totally ashamed of themselves, to treat a young girl like that is absolutely despicable, nothing but absolute bullies.

This venue charges for you to go upstairs for their so called nightclub... A DJ in the corner is not a nightclub, no dance floor.. definitely ripping people off doing this.. brought down the experience.

Stopped by this place on a Friday evening. Staff were friendly and efficient and service was good and there was a nice vibe about the venue. Would definitely return should be visiting Kilkenny again.

Lovely restaurant to sit and eat. We eat fish and chips and beef with potatoes which were good and satisfying. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly.

Disappointing DJ. Good effort made but overall poor attempts. No Tina Turner on dance Floor. Disappointing and disrespectful given her recent passing.
