Repub Lounge - Kigali

Very nice ambience, the live music evenings are very special! The terrace has a great view (book before to get a table)! It's a little expensive, but it's worth it.

The decor creates a beautiful locally inspired ambience combined with the illumination and acoustics that is perfect for an intimate culinary experience. The owner was very attentive and really took care of our experience. The menu offers various cuisine for all appetites and the pepper sauce was amazing.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients and tasteful. Cassava leaves with peanuts, potatoes, Sambaza and Plantains were delicious. The dessert was less successful. Great outdoor seating and friendly service. Best meal I had in Kigali.

Found this on a top list of restaurants and it didn’t disappoint. First, food and service were top notch (recommend sitting upstairs though). We sat with all locals and staff and manager really made us feel comfortable and helped us find some classics on the menu If you are in Kigali and care to find a place that serves traditional food in a great setting this is the place and the manager is exceptionally attentive and helpful to all guests PS live music on a Thursday (saxophone and piano) was great
