This is restaurant is a cafe gastronomic in a way, influenced by Ukrainian and French food culture... these influences are obvious before you even taste the food. Just look at the books on the shelves and you will understand. So while I like the atmosphere and the food of this place VERY much (they have some really cool deserts), ... the style is simple yet tasty and presented with style, portions are right, I would say this is one of my favorite places in Kiev for food when it comes to the chef. However the service is sadly not up to the level this place could be up to (hence 4 starts instead of 5). Someone should check the staff and get them work professionally and accurately. When you look at the room, it 's just a mess. So excellent food, could be one of the best places in town (in its category), if they could improve service. Chef if you read this you know what to do.
