Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely LOVED The Yard. It was such a lovely place to stay especially if you are not a city person like me. They are very conscious about waste and respecting the environment which is great. I have absolutely no complaints with this hostel staff was delightful, clean rooms, AC, common area, lovely outdoor area, water refill, and friendly cats.
The location is 7-10 mins walk from BTS station, which is a bit hot in bangkok standard. The hostel is very nice and quiet, service is good room is clean. I love their breakfast too. The only down side is the shower/toilet is boiling hot during the day. Also do not recommend to people whos afraid of bugs and cocroaches.
Such an awesome, cozy and friendly little hostel. Nestled off the road at the end of a quaint alley-way, the property is just tucked away enough that you forget you're in the bustling city of Bangkok. The common space is super cute and clean and the staff are so so nice and accommodating! The private rooms for stay are great and quiet. And just outside of the Hostel is a place to get breakfast, a burger bar, and they have their own nail salon! I couldn't recommend this place enough. <3
This place is fantastic and had the best breakfast and morning coffee of all my Thailand hostels. My comment here is to address the explicit no cannabis policy. I invite the owners to reframe their attitude towards the plant. It is much better for your health than alcohol and cigarettes. The yard could be a safe and beautiful place to enjoy decriminalized cannabis in Bangkok.
I always stay here every time I'm in Bangkok. It's such a cool place in the middle of bustling Bangkok. I stay here long-term as I'm a remote worker and it's really a great place for it. The internet speed is amazing. The private rooms are great and spacious, the dorms? ugh I love it, too. The beds are super comfy. I've tried all types of rooms at the yard. BUT I think the best part of actually staying here is the people you meet and the people that runs the yard. They don't treat you as a regular guest. They treat you as family, and no I don't mean that distant cousin you barely talk. I meant it like siblings who actually takes care of you. Need a sim card? A train to Chiang Mai? a ride to the islands? ugh idk they got it all here. I stayed here early december 2021 to mid february 2022 and am going back super soon. I couldn't think of a better place to stay in Bangkok.
