Bidrage med feedbackRoots is one of the best cafés in Sudan. My wife and I had lots of dates there when we were engaged when we were in Sudan. Now I yearn for it as it shaped so many beautiful memories. It's a beautiful place with tasty food, great service and a cozy friendly atmosphere.
Would not recommend this place to any human being. The owner knew I smoked in my room and did not mind that at all. Afterwards he went crazy and started screaming as loud as he could at me in the meeting room as I had a conference there with people and he did not speak to me privately. Instead, he yelled in front of my guests about smoking in the meeting room then proceeded to order me to not smoke in my room and instead to smoke outside in the balcony. Before today, no one warned me that it was not allowed as there was no non smoking sign. Yet, he’s insisted that I was warned 4 time before (staff could be scared) refused to listen to me. It got to the point that people had to calm him down. Therefore, I simply chose to go elsewhere since the owner is so disrespectful. Also, they take payments without giving receipts and would forget how much one paid WiFi is not the best tbh. I won’t be coming back. Enjoy your hotel even if you changed your mind and someone gaslighted you about the smoke, you have no right to treat someone in such a degrading way. مو اسلوب ابدا
Yummy dinner. Best dish was the Teriyaki Beef Steak. Next was the Kung Pao Chicken cos its got abit of a kick to it with the bits of dried red chilies. The Sizzling Garlic Chicken however was abit too sweet for my taste, the sauce was abit too much like tomato puree/ketchup rather than the advertised GARLIC. Won't recommend it. The Asian Salad didn't disappoint with its prominent peanut butter, sesame and mayo mix; but I doubt non-Asian enthusiasts will enjoy it. .
Cool... A little more value for money will be appreciated but the atmosphere is actually nice.
I love to go there for good food, it's also a good place to enjoy the world cup games in a huge screen.
