Bidrage med feedbackLocal meat place, serves tasty BBQ like goat meat with a delicious special sudanese salad (sliced tomato, onions, peppers and peanut pasta), hot sauce, bread and mayo sauce. The price range is moderate and it’s decent place for local culture immersion.
Open Air design place with good service Put late in representing food Good for people who are travelling to Khartoum for one day the bathroom is clean in the morning i dont know about the evening
Food take over an hour to come and it’s over priced
The place is spacious with in-rooms and courtyard tables for customers. The water aircoolers in some of the rooms are in need of maintenance as they are hot! I saw more than a customer leaving the room (cabin) once they sit therein. The tables are not immediately cleaned when customers leave; and you have to wait or call them to clean the table for you. Last time I was there, yesterday, the meat wasn't fresh, one day back, though they exhibit fresh meat on the hooks. Moeover, due to the overload of orders, the service staff are late in delivering it to tables which will result in receiving it almost cold. Everyone knows that the taste will be lost if it gets cold. Their prices are now 8000 for a kilo of lamb meat which is quite far more than the price of meat in their putcheries. However, may be they are the best in their trade which is in, my opinion, common in a poor country like ours. In general, I deem 3 stars is more than just. They are somewhere between 2 3.
A great place to taste local Sudanese food especially grill. It takes quite a while to get food here so kindly do order as soon as you arrive. There are opened rooms with AC installed to cater for heat. The attendants are quite nice and responsive. The place has open basins for washing hands and large open area for large sitting.
